The Franklin Newcomers held their 49th Craft Fair on November 9, 2024 at Tri-County Regional Technical Vocational High School. More than 1250 persons attended the craft fair, which featured 73 crafters and artisans.

The Newcomers asked for donations to the Franklin Food Pantry at the entrance to the fair, which yielded 10 full grocery bags for the pantry.

Last year, the Franklin Newcomers gave $1,765 to the Franklin food pantry. No decision has been made yet regarding this year’s donations. Each year, the group’s members nominate non-profit, local charities to receive donations, and funds are allocated by member vote. Every nominated charity will receive a donation.
