The Franklin Senior Center invites you to its annual Winter Wonderland, this year on Thursday Dec. 12th from 4:30-7 p.m., an event open to the entire community.  Dozens of decorated trees will create a magical atmosphere of Santa’s Village. Elvis will be on site serenading folks,  Santa & Mrs. Clause have promised to come, and the Franklin Fire Department will present a touch-a-truck for the kiddos. Hot chocolate, cookies and fun kids crafts complete the night. 

Winter Wonderland will be the biggest event of the month, but as usual, lots of fun events for seniors are taking place at the Franklin Senior Center, located at 10 Daniel McCahill St., Franklin. See below:

12/3: 9:30 a.m., Blanche’s Bling, Have your mobility device blinged out for the holidays

12/3&4:  9:30-1, Busy Bee Bazaar, Handmade crafts for sale!

12/5: 12 p.m. Craft Corner, Join Jean and make an ornament for the Memory Tree

12/5: 1 p.m. Reduce Holiday Stress

12/6: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Shredding Event, bring all documents you need shredded

12/9: 11 a.m., Snowflake Craft

12/10:  11a.m., Driving Decisions, RMV hosts interactive discussion about older driver safety and mobility

12/11: 1 p.m., Pathways to Healing, Bereavement group led by nurse Trish

12/12: 4:30-7 p.m., Winter Wonderland

12/17: 11 a.m., Probate, with Attorney Michael Kasberg
